ABOUT

We offer the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) for Non-Restricted firearms licencing, Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) for Restricted firearms licencing, and the in classroom Ontario Hunting Education Course (OHEC).

Upon successful completion of the firearms courses and exams, you will then be able to apply for a Canadian Possession and Acquisition Firearms License.

We typically instruct the CFSC eight (8) hour course on a Saturday.  Sundays are followed with the CRFSC four (4) hour course or in classroom OHEC ten (10) hour course. All courses are taught in English and if you require translation assistance please contact us prior to registering for a course. All course examinations follow the completion of the course on the same day. We will provide you with the weekend schedules and you are required to attend for the full duration of each course and examinations.

If you already possess a Canadian Firearms Licence with Non-Restricted classification and are upgrading to the CRFSC (restricted component of the license), you will require a six (6) hour CRFSC.  (This federal policy came into effect in April, 2016, that if a student does NOT complete the CRFSC either back to back with the CFSC or within a thirty (30) day period, the student will be required to then take an extended six (6) hour CRFSC.) ***Note that his also requires additional fee’s*** Please contact us if you have questions and require this upgrade.

The CFSC is mandatory prior to taking the CRFSC. Arrangements can be made for students who have already completed the CFSC and/or exams with another instructor. In addition, anyone who has already completed the CFSC elsewhere can still take the OHEC with us.

We also offer the opportunity to do private courses for your specific group of people. Arrangements can be made anywhere within the province.  We can assist you with scheduling a preferred time, location, or venue.  A minimum group of ten (10) individuals is required in order to proceed.  Please contact us at your convenience to discuss.
